What’s the science behind the treatment?
This innovative gel is the first of its kind – a hyaluronic acid (HA) microdroplet injection below the surface of the skin. Unlike traditional dermal fillers, it does not replace lost volume with the gel-like injection, but rather intense hydration effect created by the HA binding to water molecules. This results in a smoother, glowy, and refreshed look to the skin.
What can I expect during my procedure?
As with all of our procedures, you’ll start with a custom consultation to discuss whether SKINVIVETM by JUVÉDERM® is the right treatment for your goals. During the procedure, SKINVIVETM by JUVÉDERM®contains lidocaine that creates a numbing effect, so little discomfort is felt.
Is there any downtime with this treatment?
There is little to no downtime for SKINVIVETM by JUVÉDERM® treatments, meaning you can return to your normal daily activities post injections. Some patients may experience mild swelling or redness after treatment.
